We travel south, making an included lunch stop en-route and arrive at our hotel during the early afternoon.
A day at leisure to relax and enjoy Bournemouth.
Today we travel via Christchurch to the bustling Georgian town of Lymington with its two marinas. Explore the town's narrow streets lined with pretty cottages and houses and cobbled streets which lead down to the Old Town Quay. Later we continue into the New Forest travelling via Brockenhurst to Lyndhurst, the "capital of the forest". Lyndhurst is the largest village in the New Forest and became its natural capital when William the Conqueror established his hunting grounds here and for centuries it was the haunt of royalty and nobility who visited Lyndhurst's Manor House.
We travel eastwards and visit the Beaulieu Estate with an inclusive ticket providing admission to The National Motor Museum, Palace House, Gardens & Grounds & Beaulieu Abbey.
We depart our hotel, making a convenient stop en-route for our included lunch, arriving home during the late afternoon.
