A holiday in Bruges is like taking a trip back in time as you wander through cobbled streets surrounded by historic buildings as horse drawn carriages go by and a trip on one of the canal boats gives you a unique view of the Venice of the north.

We head for Dover and the ferry crossing to Calais. From here it is just a short drive up the coast to Bruges. Enjoy a welcoming drink upon arrival before settling in to our new surroundings. 3-course evening dinner tonight
We enjoy the delights of Bruges. This ancient settlement on a network of canals and rivers is an absolute delight. Take a cruise around the canals or a horse-drawn carriage through the streets, and shop for pretty lace or delicious chocolates. This evening is our first opportunity to sample the delights of Bruges; there are restaurants and pubs aplenty to sample the local fayre
A full day excursion to historical Ghent. What better way to start our day than with with a leisurely guided boat cruise taking in the heart of the medieval centre viewing such sites as St Bravo's Cathedral, the Belfry and St Nicholas' Church and the impressive Castle of the Counts' and the Princes' court. In the afternoon there's some free time to explore this charming city.
On our final morning we visit the pretty town of Ypres. Winston Churchill stated that every British person should visit Ypres at least once in their lives and we are proud to give you the opportunity to see this unique Belgian city which offers a distinct and heart-warming memorial to the thousands of British and Commonwealth soldiers who died on the battlefields of WW1. Homeward in the afternoon.
