Chester sparkles with a magical heritage all year round and is the perfect place for a revitalising break at any time. The city is awash with history with many of its buildings carefully restored to retain their historical heritage. The city boasts a complete circuit of walls, sections of which date back to Roman times, as well as a Norman Cathedral. The famous Rows, unique two-tiered galleries built in the traditional black and white magpie style, contain a wide range of shops selling goods from antiques to high fashion.

Monday
We drive north to Llangollen - stroll along the Victoria Promenade, sit in the Riverside Park or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. In the afternoon, we enjoy a fantastic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct canal boat trip on a motorized boat, taking us along a five mile stretch of the Llangollen Canal which runs along the picturesque Dee Valley. Our canal cruise includes a crossing of the world famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct also known as the ‘Stream in the Sky.’ From here we continue to Chester for our 4-night stay at the Queens at Chester Best Western Premiere Collection. Enjoy a glass of wine or fruit juice with dinner each night.
Tuesday
Today we visit Llandudno, Famous for its super beach and 19th-century Llandudno Pier, with shops and games arcade. Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea. All this and a long, crescent-shaped promenade and sweeping sands make it the perfect excursion destination.
Wednesday
A Leisurely day to explore Chester. The historic city offers lots to see and do. Explore the unique ‘Rows’ of two-tiered shops, take a stroll around the City Walls, meander down to the River Dee, or just relax and watch the world go by.
Thursday
After breakfast we leave our hotel for a mystery destination. In the afternoon we return to our hotel around 3.30pm for a Cream Tea – consisting of Tea/coffee, two scones, clotted cream butter and jam.
Friday
After breakfast we depart our hotel, arriving home during the afternoon.
Located within walking distance of the city centre. All bedrooms are en-suite and are equipped with TV, Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel offers a Restaurant, Bar & delightful Italian gardens. Mobility Grade: 4. Situated in the heart of Chester, good easy access throughout with a few isolated steps. Lift to all floors.
