Hampshire is such a varied county with historic towns, vibrant cities, beautiful coastline, ancient forests and rolling hills. We also visit the Isle of Wight to discover a small slice of quintessential England in an area that measures just 27 miles by 13 miles.

We visit the cathedral city of Winchester, located on the edge of the South Downs. Formerly England's ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. The Cathedral has been a place for worship for over 900 years and the city is also famous for its legendary Arthurian Roundtable.
Today we visit Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard where our 'All Attractions' ticket allows you the freedom to come and go at will. Enjoy a
45-minute Harbour Boat Cruise, walk the decks of HMS Victory & HMS Warrior and discover the story of Henry VIII's flagship, the Mary Rose. Visit the 20th century galleries and the Trafalgar Experience at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and an adventure packed trip to Action Stations.
We sail to the Isle of Wight and make our way to the quintessential English village of Godshill. Explore its delightful medieval church, charming thatched - roof cottages and winding main street with traditional tearooms.
This morning, discover the national collection of artillery at nearby Royal Armouries Fort Nelson (Free Entrance). Explore 19 acres of ramparts, outer fortifications, secret underground tunnels, and ammunition bunkers at this fully restored Victorian fort. Return to the hotel for our included 2-course lunch, followed by an afternoon at leisure.
On our return we visit Vyne House (NT). Here we can discover how people used to live in this wonderfully preserved Tudor House with much of its original furniture still intact.
