Relax as we journey south. After a convenient stop for lunch en-route we arrive at our hotel in the afternoon
Today we visit Portsmouth where we include a fascinating 45 minute harbour cruise for unrivalled views of warships at anchor and in port. Free time to explore Gunwharf Quays before entry to Spinnaker Tower. Soaring 170 metres above the Solent, it offers amazing 350º panoramic views of the South coast and the Isle of Wight. Experience the ever-changing views whilst enjoying High Tea in Café in the Clouds
We visit nearby Chichester with its beautiful cathedral. In the afternoon we visit Arundel a modern market town combining a thousand years of history and heritage with is diverse collection of individual shops and art galleries.
We sail to the Isle of Wight and make our way to the quintessential English village of Godshill. Explore its delightful medieval church, charming thatched-roofed cottages and a winding main-street lined with traditional tearooms. We continue to Rosemary Vineyard, one of the largest producers of English Wine before returning back to the mainland in the afternoon.
After a leisurely breakfast we leave our hotel and return home, making a convenient lunch stop en-route.
