Day 1

Relax on board as we journey north to Keswick, arriving in the afternoon for our 4-night stay.

Day 2

Enjoy a full day scenic tour travelling via Glenridding, where we board Ullswater Steamers for a cruise on beautiful Ullswater lake before continuing over the Kirkstone Pass – the highest road in the Lake District to Ambleside. We return to our hotel via the charming village of Grasmere.

Day 3

This morning we drive to Lake Bassenthwaite, with a tour and tasting at the highly acclaimed Lakes Distillery, producers of world class English whisky, gin and vodka. Free time in the afternoon to explore Keswick.

Day 4

Today we visit award winning Holker Hall, situated only a short distance from Grange-over-Sands and the expanse of Morecambe Bay. Holker Hall is set in exceptionally beautiful countryside with gardens that merge into parkland framed by the Lakeland Hills. Holker Hall is the home of Lord and Lady Cavendish and is one of the best loved stately homes in Britain.

Day 5

We commence our journey homewards, returning during the afternoon.
