We then travel to Ryde where a very original synchronized light, music and water display can be viewed at the Waltzing Waters Arts Centre
We travel to Carisbrooke Castle, a mighty, medieval fortress, where King Charles I was held prisoner before his trial and execution. We then visit the islands main town, Newport, with its quay and two elegant squares surrounded by period architecture.
