We tour past the famed Chesil Beach to Abbotsbury where entrance to the famous subtropical gardens is included; a mixture of formal and informal gardens awash with colour, with charming walled garden walks and spectacular woodland valley views. We drive to charming Dorchester, with its elegant 18th century houses, tree-lined walks and vibrant history, Dorchester is still very much the famous 'Casterbridge' of Thomas Hardy's novels.
