We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Friday

Our destination this morning is the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Britain's best-preserved WW2 airfield. Its story reflects the landmark achievements made in aviation history and it incorporates a series of museums and exhibitions such as the 1940s Operations Room, The American Air Museum, The Battle of Britain Exhibition Land Warfare to name but a few. Be sure to discover "AirSpace", featuring 30 iconic aircraft - including the Supermarine Spitfire and Concorde itself! We spend the afternoon at leisure in Cambridge.

Saturday

Today, we enjoy a fascinating private guided tour of Rockingham Castle, a castle with the rare status of having been continuously occupied for nearly 1,000 years and by just one family since being relinquished as a royal castle. On arrival we enjoy tea and coffee, followed by our tour, with time afterwards to explore the gardens, grounds, church and ice house at leisure.

Sunday

This morning, we make our way to Bletchley Park where Alan Turing and his colleagues helped crack Germany's Enigma Code during World War II. We uncover Bletchley Park's remarkable story by visiting the unglamorous, functional Codebreaking Huts and Blocks.
