We drive south west, pausing for a suitable stop for lunch en-route, arriving at our hotel for our 4-night stay.

A day tour to Cenarth Falls, where in season, salmon leap and the Coracle fishermen ply their trade. We include a guided tour to the very interesting Coracle Museum. Then we travel on to Llanerchaeron (NT), a small 18th century Welsh gentry estate, set in the beautiful Dyffryn Aeron. The villa was designed and built by John Nash in 1794-96 and is the most complete example of his early work. Llanerchaeron was a self-sufficient estate - evident in the dairy, laundry, brewery and salting house of the service courtyard, as well as the Home Farm buildings from the stables to the threshing barns. Today it is a working farm with two restored walled gardens which produce fruit and vegetables which are sold in the estate’s shop.

We travel up the coast to New Quay, where we include a one-hour wildlife cruise. The waters around Cardigan Bay are a great place to see dolphins and porpoises, with over 100 bottlenose dolphins known to inhabit these waters. (NB: Access to the boat is via steps therefore not easily suitable for all wheelchair users. We cannot guarantee that you will encounter Dolphins and other wildlife during your trip, however the skippers will make sure you have a truly memorable experience and will take you to many beautiful sights and locations along the way. – All sea cruises are weather dependent and are at the Captains discretion). Our day continues via the small resort of Aberaeron to the historic mid-wales coastal town of Aberystwyth.

Our excursion today takes us to St David’s - the smallest city in Britain. Follow in the footsteps of St David and discover the history and legends of the Patron Saint of Wales on our special guided tour of St David’s Cathedral. In the afternoon we return to Melin Tregwynt – a working woollen mill since 1912, where a cream tea is included.

Southern Pembrokeshire is home to miles of beautiful beaches and bays where one enjoys sea air. Journey south from Cardigan to Tenby with its colourful cottages and narrow cobbled streets where you have free time to explore.
