Friday

Journey north to the Lake District, arriving during the afternoon. Tonight, enjoy a festive evening dinner.

Saturday

A free morning to explore Keswick. Browse some of the interesting and individual shops before taking lunch in one of the many cafés. In the afternoon, we enjoy a short cruise on Derwentwater to enjoy the views.

Sunday

Each year in the South Lakeland market town of Ulverston, the historic cobbled streets are filled with seasonal cheer as locals & visitors dress in Dickensian costume. Traditional Cumbrian crafts, street entertainers, brass bands, youth theatre, stilt walkers, fire eaters, jugglers and street organs are all expected to entertain visitors throughout the weekend.

Monday

Departing after breakfast we enjoy a journey over the breathtaking Kirkstone Pass pausing in Bowness-on-Windermere prior to returning home during the afternoon.
