We travel first to Bakewell, home of the famous pudding and tarts! Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, explore the town’s mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards. In the afternoon we drive on to Matlock Bath, a 19th century spa town. Discover the heritage of lead mining, stroll along ‘lovers walk’ or take the cable car ride across the valley to the Heights of Abraham.
