The fair is probably the leading event of its type in the world. The show, on a mammoth 500-acre site, recreates English country life as it was in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. The extraordinary spectacle includes 200 working steam engines, 100 fairground organs, 50 showmen’s engines, old time steam fun fair, vintage tractors, cars and motorcycles. Add to this, demonstrations, food halls and 3 huge craft marquees for a nostalgic trip into yesteryear.
