Falmouth, the main resort of the South Cornish Riviera, has won popularity with its visitors that extends throughout the year. It boasts one of the highest average sunshine records in Britain and the gardens have a profusion of sub-tropical plants. Falmouth has a marvellous harbour for a range of boats from yachts to large ocean going ships, overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII’s forts. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways.

Sunday

After being collected from your home, we travel to Falmouth with comforts stops as required and a main stop for lunch before arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner.

Monday

A day in Falmouth today. After your full breakfast we shall transfer you to the town quay where we have arranged for a 2 hour river cruise charter with commentary exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the Fal River. Free time to explore the town or you may like to return to the hotel. Plenty of great pubs, cafes and restaurants to discover in the centre of town.

Tuesday

This morning we visit one of the most mysterious estates in England. The former Tremayne Estate is home to the extraordinary Lost Gardens of Heligan, which have been remarkably restored to their former glory over the last thirty years. We continue to Truro, Cornwall’s Cathedral City.

Wednesday

Today we are immersed in the beauty of Cornwall’s west coast as we take in the spectacular golden sands and seascapes as we travel along the St Ives Bay Line. After free time in the picturesque town of St Ives, we continue by coach around Cape Cornwall, seeing legendary Land’s End and Penzance, where romantic St Michael’s Mount enchants from the sea

Thursday

After breakfast we depart our hotel, returning home in the afternoon.
