Saturday
Departing after breakfast we visit the Cathedral City of Hereford. Explore Hereford's beautiful Saxon Cathedral, home to the rare 17th century chained library or browse the shops and admire the interesting buildings in the surrounding area. In the afternoon we continue to Hay-on-Wye, a town made up of narrow, ancient streets with bookshops around every corner along with independent family stores, boutiques and antique emporiums.
Sunday
We travel to Cardiff, where you can enjoy some free time to shop, sightsee and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market held in the pedestrian streets. There is a Winter Wonderland with its own ice rink, now undercover so you don't have to worry about the weather! Cardiff has it all when it comes to shopping - large shopping centres, high street favourites, individual shops and boutiques and a thriving indoor market. Highlights are the Victorian and Edwardian arcades full of unique boutique cafes and are architectural gems.
