Great Yarmouth & Norfolk Broads

Sunday

Travelling to East Anglia, we make a stop for lunch in Ely before arriving at our hotel during the afternoon.

Monday

A free day to explore and discover the delights of Great Yarmouth.

Tuesday

We begin the day with a visit to Wroxham and the charming Norfolk Broads where we enjoy a cruise around the picturesque Broads. In the afternoon we head to Norwich, where a visit to the cathedral is a must, also cobbled Elm Hill and the Castle Mall shopping complex.

Wednesday

We visit the timeless and delightful resort of Southwold, little changed since Victorian times. In the afternoon, we head inland to Diss for a visit to Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum - the gardens are renowned the world over for their excellence.

Thursday

Our first visit today is North Walsham, where it is market day, and we have the chance to explore and maybe enjoy a drink and bite to eat before we visit the coastal resort of Cromer for a leisurely afternoon by the sea.

Friday

We drive to Oulton Broad and Lowestoft, with a chance to explore and obtain lunch before we make our way to Somerleyton Hall - an early Victorian Mansion with Jacobean origins set in a wooded park with 12 acres of lovely gardens including a maze, tearoom and gift shop.

Saturday

Departing after breakfast we return homeward, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
