PASSPORTS

Whilst passports are not required for entry to the Channel Islands, increased security is such that most airlines now require that you produce valid photo identification at check in. The following forms of ID are acceptable:

• Valid Passport

• Valid Photographic driving licence

• Citizen Card

However, if you are planning a trip to St Malo in France from Jersey, a passport will be required.

Important: In all cases, if you are unable to provide the necessary ID, you will be refused travel.

 

CURRENCY

The island’s currency is Sterling. However, the island does have its own coins and notes which you may receive in change and it is worthwhile remembering that these are NOT accepted in the UK!
