Thursday

Travelling north, we cross the border into Scotland and on to our hotel. Enjoy a pre-dinner drinks reception before a 3-course dinner as we settle in for our 6-night stay.

Friday

Breakfast, then we travel through Aberfoyle and over the Dukes Pass to Loch Katrine, a drive often listed as one of the most beautiful in Britain. Here, we will board our steamship for a cruise on the Loch where the beauty of the region unfolds before our eyes. Return to our hotel for dinner followed by live musical entertainment.

Saturday

Enjoy a leisurely walk to the magnificent Stirling Castle, where entrance is included. We return to the hotel for a buffet lunch including tea & coffee. A 3-course evening dinner is served tonight and is followed by live music. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served in front of the fire from 10pm.

Sunday

Leisurely breakfast before a Sparkling Wine reception at 12.00pm followed by a sumptuous Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. Relax and enjoy the Queen's speech. Tonight, a light buffet dinner will be served with choices of starters and dessert followed by entertainment. Finish off the evening in the Headmasters Study Bar for some quiet drinks and reflection.

Monday

Breakfast, then we depart for Edinburgh where we enjoy a short morning Guided Tour of the 'Capital of the North' followed by some free leisure time for individual sightseeing in the afternoon. Evening 3-course dinner followed by live entertainment, music and dancing.

Tuesday

Departing after breakfast, we arrive home during the evening.
