Sunday
Making a suitable lunch stop en-route, we arrive at our hotel mid-afternoon. Enjoy a drinks reception before your first delicious evening meal.
Monday
Today we take a visit to Powderham Castle, the family home of the Earl of Devon. Enjoying a unique picturesque setting within an ancient deer park beside the Exe estuary. Our guided tour of the Castle takes in over 600 years of history. Afterwards we visit nearby Dawlish – famous for its black swans – a traditional seaside resort with red sandstone cliffs overlooking a sandy beach.
Tuesday
A free day to explore Sidmouth. In the afternoon, make the most of our hotels luxurious surroundings and enjoy a sumptuous Devon cream tea!
Wednesday
A morning in the Cathedral city of Exeter to explore at leisure. In the afternoon we continue to Exmouth for a circular cruise along the peaceful waters of the River Exe, viewing the stunning scenery, wildlife and nature of this award-winning river.
Thursday
After breakfast we depart our hotel returning home during the afternoon.

A luxurious former Victorian summer residence, the hotel retains much of its tranquility and charm. It stands at the end of Sidmouth’s striking esplanade and is just a short stroll from the town centre. Elegant Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Delightful gardens and use of superb leisure facilities at the Victoria Hotel next door.
