Monday

We travel to North Wales, arriving in the afternoon at Royal Victoria Hotel for our 4-night stay. During our stay, hotel entertainment & a complimentary drinks package on house beers, wines and soft drinks is available each evening between 7.00-11.00pm.

Tuesday

Enjoy a brief visit to Betws-y-Coed before we head for Blaenau Ffestiniog and a scenic drive through the mountains before descending to Porthmadog where we have time to explore before returning later to Llanberis.

Wednesday

This morning we explore the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by architect William Ellis early in the 20th century. The stunning houses and pavilions overlook the sea at Cardigan Bay and provide a beautiful backdrop to the day here.

Thursday

Visit historic Caernarfon, guarded by the mighty castle. There is chance to explore before we cross the Menai Straits for a visit to Beaumaris and a short stop at Llanfair PG and James Pringle store.

Friday

We travel home with a convenient lunch stop en-route.

The Royal Victoria Hotel stands in a delightful setting in its own grounds at the foot of Llanberis Pass. Pretty gardens and grounds make it an attractive location. Facilities include spacious lounges and bars. All bedrooms are en-suite and have television and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
