Wednesday
Enjoy a full-day tour visiting Loch Maree and Inverewe Gardens (NT). A true example of the rugged scenery of the west coast, Loch Maree lies in the shadow of the towering Ben Slioch and has around 30 isles, which lie like a cluster of jewels strung together to form a treasure of unrivalled beauty. We continue to the world-famous Inverewe Gardens, which boast a stunning location, overlooking Loch Ewe.
Thursday
We visit the Culloden Battlefield & Visitors Centre (NT), which features a state-of-the-art exhibition bringing the battle alive in an immersion film and accounts from genuine characters involved in the events when the British troops defeated Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Highland clans in 1746.
Friday
Today we are homeward bound.
Our hotel nestles on the banks of the River Ness, opposite Inverness Castle and is just a few short steps from Inverness city centre. Restaurant, lounge, bar, swimming pool, steam room & sauna.
