Enjoy a wonderful 5-day break to Bournemouth, one of the south coast’s best-loved seaside resorts, with time to relax beside the sea and discover some of Dorset and Hampshire’s finest attractions. From our base at the Marsham Court Hotel, we enjoy a scenic drive through the New Forest, home to its famous free-roaming ponies, before spending a day at the Beaulieu Estate with its celebrated National Motor Museum, Palace House, gardens and abbey. There is also a free day to enjoy Bournemouth at leisure, plus visits to beautiful Compton Acres and Poole, where we board the vintage Dorset Queen for a relaxing harbour cruise with a delicious Dorset cream tea served on board.

Day One

Travel to Bournemouth We travel south by luxury coach to the popular seaside resort of Bournemouth, arriving at the Marsham Court Hotel for our four-night stay. After time to settle in, enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening at the hotel.

Day Two

Today we enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful New Forest, a landscape of woodland, heathland and open grazing where there may be opportunities to spot the famous New Forest ponies. We continue to the Beaulieu Estate for a full day exploring this superb attraction, with its renowned National Motor Museum, historic Palace House, tranquil gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and other fascinating displays.

Day Three

Enjoy a day at leisure in Bournemouth. Perhaps take a stroll along the seafront, visit the pier, browse the shops, relax in the Lower Gardens or simply enjoy the resort's award-winning beaches and coastal views at your own pace.

Day Four

This morning we visit Compton Acres, a beautiful ornamental garden in Poole with themed areas including Italian, Japanese, heather, wooded valley and rock and water gardens. Later we continue to Poole, where we board the Dorset Queen, a lovingly restored 1938 vintage motor yacht, for a relaxing harbour cruise. Sit back and enjoy the views of Poole Harbour while a traditional Dorset cream tea is served on board.

Day Five

After breakfast we bid farewell to Bournemouth and begin our journey home, making suitable comfort stops en route and returning with fond memories of the coast, countryside, gardens and harbour scenery enjoyed during our holiday.

The hotel is located on the East Cliff overlooking the bay and beaches in a central, yet secluded position and has an award-winning garden frontage. Restaurant & bar. Mobility Grade: 4. Resort: Level cliff top walks, gradients to shopping centre and pier. Hotel: Level location. Lift to all floors. No Ground floor rooms & some first-floor rooms involve stairs. 9 steps to the main entrance can be avoided.
