Wednesday

We journey north, pausing for refreshment stops en-route, arriving at our hotel during the afternoon. Mulled Wine and Mince Pies served in the Drawing Room before settling into your bedroom. Evening dinner is followed by a relaxing evening as we enjoy our new surroundings.

Thursday

After breakfast we drive via the iconic 'Angel of the North' statue to Newcastle upon Tyne. Here we have the full day to explore this vibrant city with its stunning Quayside setting. Evening dinner tonight is followed by musical entertainment.

Friday

Merry Christmas! Today, we celebrate Christmas Day with a traditional Festive lunch. Listen to the King's Speech with tea/coffee and Christmas cake. Tonight's dinner is buffet style followed by a Quiz in the brasserie.

Saturday

Today we travel the short distance to Beamish, the world-famous living museum of the North. Here you can relive the story of life in Northeast England during bygone days. Tonight's 3-Course evening dinner is followed by more live musical entertainment.

Sunday

Departing our hotel we visit the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, before returning home during the early evening.
