Day One: Arrival

Depart from Henley and travel to Cheshire, where we settle into Shrigley Hall Hotel for 4 nights.

Day Two

We visit Dunham Massey, a historic house with fine collections, seasonal gardens and an ancient deer park.

Day Three

Spend the day in historic Chester, with free time to explore the Rows, Roman walls, shops, cafés or the River Dee.

Day Four

Visit Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, with parkland, lakeside walks and colourful garden areas, before continuing to Tatton Park to see its mansion and celebrated gardens.

Day Five

After breakfast, we depart and begin our journey home.

Shrigley Hall Hotel

This impressive 19th century former manor house sits in 262 acres of countryside on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Rating 3: The grounds are relatively flat with occasional hilly sections. There are a few steps in the public areas of the hotel and a lift serving all floors.
