Day 1:

Wednesday; Travel from London today to New Zealand via a Singapore Stopover.

Day 2:

Thursday; Arrive Singapore, where we are transferred to our centrally located Singapore Hotel.

Day 3:

Friday; We have tickets for the hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus, which include admission to many of Singapore's most popular attractions. Evening overnight Singapore Airlines flight to Auckland. (B)

Day 4:

Saturday; Welcome to New Zealand - We are transferred upon arrival to our Hotel. (D)

Day 5:

Sunday; A morning 'Highlights' tour of Auckland - Exploring the lively waterfront area. We drive through the Auckland Domain Gardens to the Auckland Museum. Also, we visit Auckland's Sky Tower - at 328m tall it is one of the tallest buildings in the Southern Hemisphere offering you outstanding views of the surrounding region. (B)

Day 6:

Monday;Travel north over Auckland Harbour Bridge to visit the Parry Kauri Park, continuing to the Matakohe Kauri Museum at Otamatea. Our journey continues to Paihia in the beautiful Bay of Islands, where we take a guided tour of the Waitangi Treaty House, where New Zealand's history began! (B) (D)

Day 7:

Tuesday; A day at leisure to discover the 'Bay of Islands'. Perhaps take a day trip to see the lighthouse at Cape Reinga, followed by a safari along the 90 miles of beach. Maybe take the plunge and swim with the dolphins or simply relax within Paihia. (B)

Day 8:

Wednesday; Board a luxury catamaran to cruise the 'Bay of Islands' to Cape Brett, before making a passage through the 'Hole in the Rock'. Next, we travel south via to Twin Coast Discovery Highway to Auckland. (B) (D)

Day 9:

Thursday; Departing Auckland we travel south via the Bombay Hills through the dairy rich Waikato countryside to the famous Waitomo Caves. Here, we have a guided tour underground to view the amazing limestone caves. We continue via boat to view the glow-worm grotto - an underground cavern featuring millions of glow-worms. From Waitomo, we travel to the thermal wonderland of Rotoura - Sulphur City, where we enjoy a guided walk through Rainbow Springs. (B) (D)

Day 10:

Friday; A day at leisure with plenty of Optional touring options. Tonight, we are treated to a traditional Hangi Feast and Maori Concert. (B) (D)

Day 11:

Saturday; Today we board the 'Northern Explorer' train for a scenic journey through the north of the island to Wellington. (B) (D)

Day 12:

Sunday;This morning enjoy an informative sightseeing tour with visits to St Paul's Cathedral and the Botanic Gardens. The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Day 13:

Monday; We cruise the Cook Strait through the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sound into the South Island. On arrival at Picton board the Coastal Pacific train through to Christchurch - one of the world's most scenic train journeys. (B) (D)

Day 14:

Tuesday; From Christchurch we traverse the Southern Alps aboard the famous Tranz-Alpine railway to Arthurs Pass. We continue our journey by coach to the West Coast, stopping at Hokitika for a visit to the Greenstone Glass Blowing factory. Further south we tour the Westland National Park, home to the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. (Optional scenic flights available). (B) (D)

Day 15:

Wednesday;Driving towards the southern end of the South Island we enter remote Haast, where you are surrounded by a landscape of rainforest, wetlands, sand dunes and surf-pounded shingle beaches. We continue to Makaroa and Lake Wanaka travelling via Cromwell, following the Kawarau Gorge Road into Queenstown. (B)

Day 16:

Thursday; A day at leisure. Visit the Remarkable's or Coronet Peak or perhaps take a scenic 4-wheel drive through Skipper's Canyon. Tonight, take a cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the steamer TSS Earnshaw to dine at the Colonel's Homestead. (B) (D)

Day 17:

Friday; Leave Queenstown via Te Anau to beautiful Eglinton Valley then on to Milford Sound, where we enjoy a scenic cruise of the Sound, dominated by the grandeur of Mitre Peak and the Bowen Falls. (B) (D)

Day 18:

Saturday;We travel through New Zealand's most populated sheep country to Dunedin. Here, we board the Taieri Gorge Train Excursion for a spectacular return ride to Pukerangi. (B) (D)

Day 19:

Sunday;This morning visit Olveston House with its lavish furnishings and art collections, then on to Oamaru to look at the 'White Stone City' - buildings constructed from local limestone before arriving for our overnight stay in Omarama. (B) (D)

Day 20:

Monday; A day of spectacular sights! We head via Lake Pukaki to Mount Cook - New Zealand's highest mountain. We travel via the magnificent blue waters of Tekapo to the vast Mackenzie Basin, then on to Christchurch. (B) (D)

Day 21:

Tuesday; We visit the old French whaling depot of Akaroa on Banks Peninsula, followed by an afternoon cruise on Akaroa Harbour. In the afternoon return to Christchurch for a city sightseeing tour. (B) (D)

Day 22:

Wednesday; Farewell to New Zealand as we fly to Sydney, Australia. (B) (D)

Day 23:

Thursday; A sightseeing tour of Australia's largest city including Sydney Harbour and Bondi Beach. (B)

Day 24:

Friday;Todays tour takes in the Blue Mountains, including visits to Featherdale Wildlife Park, Scenic World. Your final adventure is a visit to the Scenic Skyway, and a journey at 270m above ancient ravines and dazzling waterfalls. (B)

Day 25:

Saturday; A free day for personal sightseeing and shopping. (B) (D)

Day 26:

Sunday; Say farewell to Australia, as we transfer to Sydney International Airport for your flight back to London.

Day 27:

Monday; Arrive UK and your return transfers home.
