Eastbourne enjoys a remarkably mild and sunny climate, thereby earning its nickname the Suntrap of the South. It is sheltered by the South Downs and the towering cliffs of Beachy Head. The resort has an attractive flat promenade and a wide variety of entertainment including the Winter Gardens, the 1930s iconic Bandstand and the old fortified Wish Tower which dates from Napoleonic times.

We travel to the Sussex Coast, making a stop for our included lunch en-route, arriving in our resort during the afternoon.
We cross the South Downs to enjoy the views at Beachy Head, reaching Birling Gap. Return via the scenic Seven Sisters to Alfriston, one of the oldest and prettiest villages in Sussex.
Today we visit Michelham Priory - England's longest water filled moat surrounds the site which dates back to 1229. Discover the history of the house, the destruction caused in Tudor times, to iater life as a country house. Enjoy a bite to eat and a drink in the café before we return to Eastbourne for free time in the afternoon.
A day at leisure in Eastbourne, where you might be fortunate enough to catch a concert at the Grand Parade Bandstand. Stroll along Eastbourne Pier to enjoy a cup of tea in the Victorian tearooms or visit the Wish Tower, from where you can visit the Lifeboat Museum, Heritage Centre and Winter Gardens.
We return homeward, making a stop for our included lunch en-route, arriving during the afternoon.

This friendly family run hotel is located very close to the sea, bandstand, Wish Tower, Winter Gardens and Devonshire Park. The pier and shopping centre are only a few minutes away. Restaurant, lounge, bar and spacious dining room.
