After joining your holiday coach, sit back and relax for the drive north. We arrive late afternoon in Crieff where dinner awaits.
Expect some breath-taking scenery on today's scenic drive through the magnificent Central Highlands. We pass lovely Loch Earn en-route to Killin and the Falls of Dochart, a spectacular series of rapids, at the western end of Loch Tay. We continue to Aberfeldy, before visiting Pitlochry, where you may like to do a spot of shopping or perhaps take a walk to see the Hydro Electric Dam and its famous Salmon Ladder.
Enjoy a trip to Scotland's oldest working distillery - The Famous Grouse. Here you will discover the art of blending this popular whisky and have the chance to sample a wee dram or two. We continue to the Crieff Visitor Centre, home of the world-renowned Caithness Glass and you can enjoy the skilled craftsmen at work form the viewing gallery.
A trip this morning to St Andrews, Scotland's oldest university town with a striking seaside location. Best known as home to the world's most famous golf course, here you will visit the Old Course with an expert guide on a tour around the 1st, 17th and 18th holes where you will walk in the footsteps of the game's most iconic names and experience a player's eye view of the fabled links.
We visit Drummond Castle Gardens - one of Scotland's most important formal gardens. Originally laid out in 1630 by John Drummond, second Earl of Perth. The gardens featured in the United Artists film 'Rob Roy'. (The castle is not open to the public but the gardens offer marvellous views of the castle and surrounding countryside).
Homeward bound, arriving back during the evening.
