Thursday

Travelling east we make a stop for lunch in the old stone town of Stamford, then to our hotel in West Norfolk, for our 3-night stay.

Friday

On the stunning north Norfolk coast, surrounded by rolling parkland, lies Holkham Hall, an 18th century masterpiece. The Palladian-style stately home is a treasure trove with incredible architecture, art, original furniture and classical statuary. The collection includes works by Rubens, Van Dyck, Gaspar Poussin, Claude and Gainsborough. A Cream Tea is included during our visit.

Saturday

Located just six miles from our hotel, we discover Sandringham House & Gardens. This estate is the much-loved Norfolk retreat of her Majesty the Queen. The magnificent stately house is set in 24 hectares of stunning landscaped gardens with a museum that is home to an extraordinary collection of memorabilia.

Sunday

On our homeward journey we pause in the charming market town of Ely, returning home during the afternoon.
