Bath, Bristol & Bolwood House

Sunday

We drive to Bristol for a visit to Brunel's SS Great Britain. This magnificent steamship was the biggest passenger ship in the world when she came into service. We have time to explore the painstakingly restored ship, fascinating dry dock and original settlement and gain an insight into what life was like for the ship's Victorian passengers and crew. From here, we continue to our hotel in Bath arriving in time for dinner and our 2-night stay.

Monday

Immerse yourself in the vibrant city of Bath. The Doubletree by Hilton hotel is perfectly located amidst the city's captivating architecture and rich cultural heritage. Marvel at the iconic Roman Baths, stroll along the Georgian crescents, and lose yourself in the enchanting charm of the Royal Victoria Park. With its thriving arts scene, boutique shops, and quaint cafes, Bath offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement.

Tuesday

Departing our hotel, we visit Bowood House and Gardens, where there will be free time to explore the house and gardens at leisure. Bowood House has the perfect Georgian architecture, fascinating estate rooms and one of England's finest 'Capability' Brown landscapes. We return home during the afternoon.
