Visit the UK’s tallest war memorial – The Spire – which was the last sight of Britain seen by the 58,000 names on the surrounding Walls of Names. Take a walk through the Peace Gardens as well as visit the centre to hear the story of Bomber Command, what it was like serving as Aircrew, or providing support to Bomber Command and stories of the civilians building the planes.
