Discover the beauty of southwest Scotland with charming coastal towns, famous gardens, Robert Burns heritage, majestic castles and artist havens, all enjoyed at a relaxed pace with inclusive sightseeing.

Monday

We travel north to south west Scotland, arriving at our hotel in the Stranraer area late afternoon. Time to settle in before dinner this evening.

Tuesday

This morning we visit Portpatrick, a charming harbour town famed for its colourful houses and coastal views towards Ireland. Later, we explore the beautiful Castle Kennedy Gardens, a spectacular loch side garden paradise. Returning to Stranraer, enjoy free time before dinner.

Wednesday

We travel along the scenic coast to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, celebrating the life and legacy of Scotland's national poet. This afternoon we visit impressive Culzean Castle & Country Park, set dramatically atop coastal cliffs, with gardens, parkland and historic interiors to explore.

Thursday

Heading east, we stop in Gatehouse of Fleet with time to visit the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre. We then enjoy Threave Garden & House, a beautifully landscaped haven for wildlife, before continuing to Kirkcudbright, the picturesque artists' town, for an afternoon break.

Friday

After breakfast, we depart for home, taking with us wonderful memories of Scotland's scenic south west.
