Wednesday

This morning enjoy a leisurely drive over ‘Dukes Pass’ to Loch Katrine, where we enjoy a 1-hour cruise on-board the ‘Lady of the Lake’. Afterwards, we continue to the picturesque village of Comrie where we visit Scotland’s only remain second World War POW Camp – Cultybraggan. Go back in time in and discover the recreation of prisoner accommodation and see the Cultybraggan Cartoon Collection and learn all about the history of the camp through the informative POW exhibition and audio-visuals

Thursday

Today we visit Stirling Castle – the key to the kingdom of Scotland, which dominates a vast volcanic rock above the river Forth at the meeting point between Lowlands and Highlands. Its origins are ancient and over the centuries it grew into a great royal residence and a powerful stronghold.

Friday

We visit Callendar House, near Falkirk – a stately home dating from the 14th century, situated within the extensive Callendar Park estate. It now houses a public museum with permanent displays that tell the history of Callendar House and Falkirk District
