Melk & Vienna
This morning, arrive in Melk and visit the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, one of Austria's most impressive Baroque landmarks, dramatically overlooking the Danube and the Wachau Valley. Later, continue cruising to Vienna, the celebrated City of Music. Vienna
Enjoy a full day to explore Vienna at your own pace. Discover grand imperial architecture, elegant cafés, vibrant shopping streets and historic attractions, or simply soak up the city's unique atmosphere. Spend the day exploring its magnificent landmarks, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, Chain Bridge and historic Castle District. Straddling both sides of the Danube, Budapest impresses with its grand architecture, fascinating history and vibrant atmosphere. As darkness falls, admire the city's iconic riverside skyline illuminated against the night sky.
Day 7
Budapest & Esztergom
This morning, enjoy further time in Budapest before your ship departs. Later, cruise to Esztergom, once the capital of Hungary and home to the country's largest church, the impressive Esztergom Basilica. Perched above the Danube, this historic city offers wonderful views and a fascinating insight into Hungary's royal and religious heritage.
Day 8
Bratislava
Today, discover Slovakia's charming capital, Bratislava. Included is a guided city tour, introducing you to its historic old town, elegant architecture and impressive hilltop castle. Wander through attractive squares and narrow streets, learning about the city's rich past and unique position on the borders of Austria and Hungary.
Day 9
Dürnstein & The Wachau Valley
Wake to the beauty of Austria's stunning Wachau Valley and visit the picturesque riverside town of Dürnstein. Enjoy free time to stroll its cobbled streets, browse local shops or admire the famous castle ruins linked to the legend of King Richard the Lionheart. Return to the ship and relax as you savour the final day of your Danube cruise.

Passau
Depart the cruise in Passau after breakfast, and start the journey home, with another overnight stops.
