Easter in Caernarfon North Wales

Thursday

Heading north, we make our way to Chester for a lunch break, before we continue to the hotel in time for you to relax before dinner.

Friday

Today we travel to world famous Bodnant Gardens, noted for its botanical collections, offering glorious displays of colour. Here you can marvel at plants from all over the world from seed and cuttings collected over a century ago on plant hunting expeditions. We continue to Llandudno, one of Britain's finest Victorian seaside resorts

Satuday

Today's excursion takes us via the Indigo Jones Slate Works - where a self-guided tour allows you to discover a wide variety of quality natural slate products and Welsh slate crafts, along with other Celtic and Welsh products. We continue via the beautiful seaside resort town of Criccieth, located on the south side of the Llyn Peninsula with splendid views over Cardigan Bay. Well known as the 'Pearl of Wales on the Shores of Snowdonia', this stunning Victorian town is popular for its attractive beaches and its traditional Welsh charm. We continue to the seaside market town of Pwllheli, before returning via Aberdesach and a scenic coastal drive back to our hotel.

Sunday

This morning we'll breakfast before visiting wonderful Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a stunning location on the banks of the River Seiont. We return to our hotel for a delicious 3-course Easter Sunday lunch , followed by an afternoon at leisure. A light buffet meal will be served during the evening.

Monday

We board our coach and return through the scenic Snowdonia National Park, taking in the breath-taking scenery and calling in at pretty Betws-y-Coed before making our way homeward.
