(Edinburgh Tattoo is an outdoor spectacle, please ensure you bring suitable clothing)

After breakfast, we take the short walk to Verdant Works Museum, a beautifully restored former jute mill which brings Dundee's industrial heritage vividly to life. Discover the story of the city's textile past through atmospheric displays, fascinating exhibits and working machinery. This afternoon we visit Discovery Point, home to the historic RRS Discovery. Here we learn about the ship's remarkable Antarctic expedition with Captain Scott and explore the galleries and vessel that tell the story of Dundee's proud maritime connections.

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Glamis Castle, one of Scotland's most impressive historic homes and the ancestral seat of the Earls of Strathmore. Our tour reveals stories from within the castle walls as we discover its elegant rooms, family collections and long royal connections. In the afternoon we continue to Newton Farm for a guided tour of this working Angus farm. Meet some of the farm's animals, learn about rural life and round off the visit with home-baked treats served with tea or coffee.
