'I'm Dreaming of a Wight Christmas'

Monday

We drive to Southampton for our ferry to the Isle of Wight. Upon arrival, we are greeted with tea/coffee and mince pies. After our evening dinner tonight, there is music in the ballroom for dancing or your listening pleasure.

Tuesday

Breakfast, then a leisurely morning drive to the quintessential English village of Godshill. We continue to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, where a light lunch is included before returning to Sandown in the afternoon. Tea/coffee and Christmas cake will be served in the lounge.
Pre-dinner glass of wine with Christmas carols followed by at candlelit dinner and entertainment in the ballroom.

Wednesday

Breakfast and a relaxing Christmas morning, then join the hotel management for a glass of sparkling wine and a visit from 'someone special'! Traditional Christmas lunch. King's Speech in the lounge then enjoy tea/coffee followed by the hotel's 'bumper quiz'. Buffet supper in the restaurant is followed by the hotel's evening entertainment.

Thursday

An ideal way to unwind after Christmas Day with a drive to Ryde. Free time to explore and obtain lunch before enjoying a 'Boxing Day Steam Special' on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Settle back in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and enjoy a unique view of some of the Island's unspoilt countryside (Mince pies and mulled wine included). Farewell dinner and entertainment with prize-giving for the quiz winners.

Friday

After breakfast we return to the mainland and homeward bound.
