Thursday

North to Ayrshire, for our overnight stay at the Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine.

Friday

We board the ferry to Arran - where we visit Brodick before enjoying a tour of the island. We Board the afternoon ferry to the Mull of Kintyre and a scenic drive along the shoreline Loch Fyne to Oban and our 2-night stay at the Columba Hotel.

Saturday

We board the morning sailing to Mull where we enjoy a scenic tour of the island then make our way to Fionnphort and take the boat as foot passengers to the tiny Isle of Iona, known as the ‘Cradle of Christianity’ in Scotland.

Sunday

A fascinating Highland drive via the banks of lovely Loch Linnhe to Fort William, where we visit the Ben Nevis Distillery. Next, we take the ‘Road to the Isles’ We continue along the ‘Road to the Isles’, via ’Neptune’s Staircase’ to the Glenfinnan Monument and Loch Shiel before checking in to the Morar Hotel, for our 2-night stay.

Monday

We board the morning ferry for the short crossing to the Isle of Skye, where we include visits to Portree & Dunvegan Castle.

Tuesday

Departing Morar, we return through lonely Glencoe continuing along the shoreline of Loch Lomond to our final night in the Central Lowlands region.

Wednesday

Homeward bound.

Day 1 - 3* Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine

Days 2 & 3 - 3* The Columba Hotel, Oban

Days 4 & 5 - 3* The Morar Hotel, Morar

Day 6 - TBC (3* Minimum)

All hotels are varied in style and standards. Travellers should consider the fact that they will often be in beautiful, yet isolated locations where hotel availability is extremely limited.

All have restaurant, bar & lounge. The Riverside Lodge & Columba Hotels have a lift, however The Morar Hotel does not, although ground floor/low floor rooms can be requested.

Mobility Grade 2: Please note that due to the nature of this holiday, customers with mobility difficulties may be limited in their enjoyment.
