This Grade I listed, family-run hotel, is located on the Garrison a short walk from the centre of St. Mary’s and the harbour, commanding breathtaking views of the stunning archipelago. With 38 bedrooms, the hotel boasts traditional 16th century castle accommodation within 3 acres of secluded gardens. Facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, conservatory and 2 award-winning restaurants. There is also a lounge for teas, coffees and cream teas.

 

Mobility Grade: 2 – It is a steep walk to the castle. There are nine steps to the main entrance and many unavoidable steps throughout the hotel and grounds. There are many bedrooms on the ground, however we do not recommend this hotel for those with impaired or reduced mobility.

Therefore, due to the nature of this holiday, customers with mobility difficulties may be limited in their enjoyment. Please be aware that the days on which the excursions will operate may be subject to change.

 

FLIGHTS: All our tours featured on Pages 22 & 23 to the Isles of Scilly include return flights from Land’s End Airport to St. Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly. Flights are with Skybus who operate the scheduled 20-minute flying time with 19 & 8-seater aircraft. The Airline Company ‘Skybus’ reserve the right to transfer passengers to the sea crossing in the event of flight cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.
