Join us for a heartwarming Turkey & Tinsel break in beautiful North Devon. With festive themed evenings, coastal scenery and charming towns to explore, this relaxing getaway is the perfect way to start the Christmas season. Our base is the welcoming Imperial Hotel in Barnstaple, offering comfort, great food and a warm festive atmosphere throughout your stay.

Sunday

We travel south, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon. Relax, settle in and enjoy a drinks reception before our first delicious evening meal.

Monday

After breakfast, we enjoy a leisurely day taking in the dramatic coastal scenery of North Devon. Our scenic drive includes time in the pretty seaside towns of Ilfracombe, Woolacombe Bay and Combe Martin, with photo stops at stunning Atlantic viewpoints.

Tuesday

This morning is yours to enjoy at leisure in Barnstaple. You may like to browse the historic Pannier Market, visit the Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon, or simply relax with a coffee by the river. In the afternoon, join an optional gentle visit to the Affinity Devon Outlet for a spot of shopping.

Wednesday

Today we enjoy something a little different with a visit to the fascinating Quince Honey Farm. Learn all about beekeeping and honey production on a bee-spoke talk, enjoy a honey tasting session, and browse the gift shop, perfect for Christmas treats to take home. There's also time to explore the beautiful Nectar Gardens. We continue to the market town of South Molton for lunch and a browse before returning to the hotel for a Christmas dinner and Christmas Crackers.

Thursday

Sadly, we are homeward bound.
