Book NowNew Forest Tour Thursday 3rd April 2025
We first visit the coastal town of Lymington. This colourful and vibrant town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history, with so much to see and so. At the top of the High Street sits the Church of St Thomas. Maybe visit the St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery which occupies a former Victorian school building. Alternatively, make a wander through the pretty cobbled streets of the old town and on to The Quay to watch the luxury yachts and fishing boats come and go.
After Lymington, we drive through the New Forest to the village of Burley to make a short stop. Burley is a must visit village in the New Forest. Full of old-world charm, quaint cafes, charming shops, free-roaming ponies and donkeys.
After Burley, we make a final stop to Lyndhurst. Lyndhurst has been visited by kings and queens staying at the Royal Manor throughout the centuries. Today, Lyndhurst remains the administrative heart of the New Forest. Situated at the top of the High Street, sits the impressive gothic parish church of St Michael and All Angels. A popular spot for locals and visitors is Boltons Bench, located just beyond the lower end of the High Street, this elevated spot offers fantastic views of the landscape.
Keep your eyes peeled out of the coach windows, as it wont be long until you see many of the 5,000 free roaming ponies the New Forest is famed for!(Admissions not included.)
