Tuesday

Departing Henley-in-Arden we journey to the West Country, arriving at our hotel during the afternoon in time for dinner and our 4-night stay.

Wednesday

After breakfast we travel through the Exmoor National Park. A beautiful landscape of moorland, woodland, coast, and rivers to the harbour village of Lynmouth, which is linked to Lynton by the funicular Cliff Railway, the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world! We return to our hotel for dinner and some in-house entertainment..

Thursday

Our day begins with a visit to Affinity Devon, where we'll discover over 35 Outlet Shops in a beautifully covered mall offering up to 50% off rrp on a host of famous brands. From here, we drive to the charming village of Appledore, located at the mouth of the River Torridge with its winding narrow streets, colourful houses and rich maritime history. Return tour hotel to prepare for tonight's black-tie Gala Dinner and a New Year's Eve party.

Friday

A Happy New Year! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax at the hotel or join us on a short excursion to Barnstaple, where you can explore at your own pace. After dinner this evening, there will be games of bingo and a quiz to enjoy.

Saturday

We depart after breakfast for the journey home, arriving back into the Midlands mid-afternoon.
