Outstanding Norther Ireland & Belfast

Sunday

We journey to Holyhead in North Wales for our afternoon sailing to Ireland and continue to our overnight stay at the
Talbot Stillorgan Park Hotel (4-star rated).

Monday

We journey north to Newry. Then following the Mountains of Mourne Coastal Route we drive along the shores of
Carlingford Lough to Kilheel. We continue via Downpatrick, the last resting place of St. Patrick before arriving at the Stormont
Hotel for our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

This morning we drive pausing to view the ‘Dark Hedges’, a romantic, atmospheric, tunnel-like avenue of intertwined
beech trees, planted in the 18th-century. Today they are instantly recognisable to fans of the popular TV series ‘Game of
Thrones’, as the Kings Road! We continue to the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Experience, returning along the spectacular
Antrim coast with its vertical cliffs, glens and mountain scenery. (Small separate charge for those requiring to use the
Translink Shuttle bus from the Visitors Centre to view the Causeway).

Wednesday

Today we visit Hillsborough Castle, one of the most beautiful, and interesting historic properties in Northern
Ireland and the official residence of the Royal Family when they are in Northern Ireland. We include a guided tour of this
magnificent Georgian Mansion and an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens. (Our visit includes tea and scones).

Thursday

This morning a local coach and Belfast City guide meets us at our hotel for a morning guided tour of Belfast. In the
afternoon we visit Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience. This iconic six-floor building explores the sights,
sounds, smells and stories of the Titanic, which brings history to life in an unforgettable way.

Friday

We return south to Dublin before continuing to our final nights stay at the
Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

Saturday

Breakfast today is included on board our return Irish Ferries sailing to
Holyhead then we continue homeward.
