Monday

We drive south west, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon for our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

We visit the charming little Georgian port town of Aberaeron with its elegant brightly painted town houses, before continuing to the seaside resort of Aberystwyth with its level promenade, cliff railway, plus there are numerous places to eat and drink.

Wednesday

Today we visit the small seaside resort of Saundersfoot before continuing to Tenby. Regarded as one of the prettiest resorts in Wales, Tenby is renowned for its lovely golden beaches and picturesque harbour.

Thursday

This morning we drive to St. Davids, the smallest city in Britain named after the patron saint of Wales and dominated by its 12th century cathedral. After a short stop here, we make our way to the ancient market town of Cardigan, set on the River Teifi estuary. The main landmarks of the town are the Cardigan Castle with its Georgian Mansion and medieval walls, plus the 19th century Guildhall.

Homeward bound.
