Sunday

We travel to the West Country,
arriving at the Livermead Cliff Hotel for our
4-night stay.

Monday

We head to Kingsbridge, ‘capital’
of South Devon, with a chance to look
around the pleasant town. Moving on we
head for delightful Dartmouth with its
many naval connections, including the
Royal Naval College. We have lunchtime
prior to enjoying a scenic 1-hour cruise
along the beautiful River Dart.

Tuesday

This morning we explore
‘Bygones’, a deceptively large and
fascinating attraction that brings Britain’s
past and childhood memories to life. We
continue to Torre Abbey, set within 18 acres
of garden and parkland. It houses an
impressive art collection.

Wednesday

This morning we drive into Newton Abbot where today is market day.
Next, we enjoy a ride on the South Devon
Railway, from Buckfastleigh to Totnes.
