Sunday

We travel north into Scotland with suitable comfort stops, arriving at the New Lanark Mill Hotel, set within the atmospheric UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Monday

Today we explore the New Lanark World Heritage Site, discovering the beautifully preserved mill village and the story of social reformer Robert Owen, set alongside the dramatic River Clyde.

Tuesday

We journey to Dumfries and Galloway to visit Drumlanrig Castle, the magnificent 'Pink Palace', enjoying a guided tour of its opulent interiors and collections. This afternoon we enjoy free time in the nearby village of Thornhill, a charming Georgian village with independent shops and cafés.

Wednesday

Today we visit the legendary Rosslyn Chapel, renowned for its intricate stone carvings and enduring mysteries. Later, enjoy time at Dawyck Botanic Garden, where trees from across the world create a stunning Borders landscape.

Thursday

After breakfast, we begin our relaxed journey home.
