Thursday

We travel south, making a convenient stop for lunch en-route, arriving with plenty of time to settle in before dinner.

Friday

A free day to enjoy Sidmouth’s peaceful charm. With a nod to Christmas, in the evening a sherry reception is followed by a traditional festive 5-course dinner. Local singers will perform carols and festive songs.

Saturday

Today we visit Lyme Regis, a coastal resort that boasts breath-taking scenery and holds a special mystique. Its historic Cobb and harbour are iconic features, set against moody blue cliffs yielding fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. (Please note that access to the town and promenade from the coach park is via a steep incline and may prove challenging for those with reduced mobility).

Sunday

The tranquil waters of theRiver Exe allow us to cruise through the winter months to see this constantly changing landscape from the ever-calm waters of the river. Departing from Exmouth Marina, we cruise along the peaceful waters of the river towards Powderham Castle and along to where the river ends on Exmouth’s traditional seafront.
