Monday

We travel to the West Country, making a suitable stop for lunch en-route and arrive at our hotel during the early afternoon.

Tuesday

Our first visit today is to Paignton. Explore the harbour and sheltered coves or enjoy a stroll along the promenade. In the afternoon we head for the port of Brixham with its quaint narrow streets heading up from the waterfront. In the harbour is a replica of the Golden Hind, Sir Frances Drake's ship. Watch the many boats heading across the bay to Torquay and beyond.

Wednesday

Today is your chance to explore Torquay. Known as the 'Queen of the English Riviera' Torquay is one of England's best loved resorts. Explore the harbour, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or some shopping in the town centre. Relax in and around the hotel and watch the world go by.

Thursday

First, we visit the market town of Totnes with its variety of shops and historic buildings. We continue to delightful Dartmouth. The River Dart is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes, and the town hosts the Royal Naval College. We have time for lunch here before we return to the hotel late afternoon.

Friday

Departing our hotel after breakfast we return homeward making a convenient stop for lunch en-route arriving home in the afternoon.
