Raise a glass to the landscapes and flavours of Sussex on this indulgent four-day escape, staying at the elegant Grand Hotel in Eastbourne. Enjoy free time in charming Tenterden before discovering the sustainable winemaking of Oxney Organic Estate, one of England’s largest organic vineyards. We also visit magnificent Glynde Place, a Grade I listed Tudor house with sweeping views over the South Downs, plus time to relax beside the sea in Eastbourne. Our finale is a behind-the-scenes visit to Bolney Wine Estate, with tastings of award-winning wines paired with cheese and charcuterie.

Day One: Arrival

We travel south-east by luxury coach, pausing for a lunch stop, before continuing to Eastbourne to check in to The Grand Hotel.

Day Two

This morning we head to Tenterden for free time to explore this attractive town, known for its independent shops, cafés and pleasant High Street. This afternoon we continue to Oxney Organic Estate, one of England's largest single-estate organic vineyards and part of the Rother Wine Triangle. Enjoy a guided introduction to the estate and sample a selection of its still and sparkling wines before we return tot eh hotel for dinner.

Day Three

This morning we visit Glynde Place, a remarkable Grade I listed Tudor house perched above the village of Glynde with views across the Weald and South Downs. On our private tour, discover the Georgian hall, family collections, fine paintings and treasures that reveal centuries of Sussex heritage. Please note there is no lift and stairs are required during the house tour. We return to Eastbourne for a free afternoon to enjoy the coast at your own pace.

Day Four

After breakfast we leave Eastbourne and make our way to the award-winning, family-run Bolney Wine Estate, one of England's oldest and most celebrated wineries. Go behind the scenes with a tour of the vineyard and winery before enjoying a tutored tasting of five wines, paired with cheese and completed by a charcuterie board. Suitably refreshed, we continue our journey home with fond memories of Sussex hospitality, heritage and award-winning English wine.
