Outward via the Angel of the North to our hotel
Tuesday
We take you on a journey along the Durham Heritage Coast – one of the finest coastlines in England – as we make our way to the lively harbour town of Seaham. Here, we suggest grabbing an ice cream and walking along the coastal footpath enjoying breath taking views. We return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Wednesday
We visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens – This majestic and imposing medieval castle offers impressive architecture, fine art treasures and a beautiful setting. It has been a popular film location, for everything from Harry Potter to Elizabeth to Becket to Blackadder.
Thursday
The Durham Heritage Coast, Seaham with free time in Newcastle in the afternoon
Friday
Homeward bound.
