Monday

We journey to south Wales, arriving in time for dinner and our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

We visit Cardiff, where an expert-led tour will walk you through a history that spans 2000 years at Cardiff Castle. From the Roman occupation of Britain to the Norman Conquest, through civil war turbulence, a Victorian transformation and even the terrors of World War 2, those Castle walls have seen it all! Our day continues with a visit to Cardiff Christmas Market – running for nearly 30 years this is a unique visitor attraction set in the heart of Cardiff’s pedestrianised shopping area.

Wednesday

Host to talented crafters, traditional traders and delicious street food vendors, Swansea Christmas Market provides a great chance for some last-minute shopping for handcrafted stocking fillers and unique gifts, as we soak up the yuletide atmosphere.

Thursday

A morning excursion today onto the spectacular Gower Peninsula, stopping at The Mumbles, maintaining an original Victorian charm with its piers and long promenade beside five miles of sandy beaches stretching across Swansea Bay.

Friday

We depart after breakfast for our journey home.
